Managing Executive (Acting): Container Corridor

Ntombi Mzobe

Ms. Ntombi Mzobe is the Acting Managing Executive for the Container Corridor, effective May 2024. Previously, she held the position of Head of Operations in the Container Corridor.

Ms. Mzobe has been with Transnet since 2000, joining as one of the first Train Assistants at the Umbilo depot. She has since risen through the ranks, holding various roles in operations management across all spheres of TFR, including Train Operations, Container and Automotive Planning, and management of all TFR Terminal operations nationally. Throughout her career, Ms. Mzobe has established a strong interface and strategic collaboration with the Port, focusing on road-to-rail and decongestion projects. She brings extensive knowledge and skills in rail safety management, people management, budget management, and customer service management.

Academically, Ms. Mzobe holds a Certificate in Employee Relations | Diploma in Logistics | BSc degree in Railway Operations | Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practice.
