Managing Executive: Richards Bay Terminals

Thulasizwe Dlamini has been appointed the Managing Executive: Richards Bay Terminals, a position he is well-acquainted with having served in an acting capacity from November 2021 to June 2022. Thulasizwe will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and assuming control over the terminals within the portfolio, ensuring they operate as a profitable, efficient, and value-enhancing enterprise.

With extensive background in logistics and terminal operations, Thulasizwe brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position. His professional journey spans over two decades, during which he has held various senior management positions in prominent organisations. Most recently, he served as the Terminal Executive at Pier 2 Container Terminal, where he led and ensured efficient terminal operations, optimised cargo handling, and maintained customer satisfaction.

Thulasizwe holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Management, with a specialization in Business Information Systems and Auditing from the University of Kwa Zulu Natal (UKZN). He also completed a Diploma in Operations Management and a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Operations Management from the Durban University of Technology. In addition, he holds and Master’s in Business Administration Degree from the UKZN Business School.
