With over 20 years’ experience, Earl has held various roles at Transnet including Terminal Manager for Durban Point, Terminal Manager for Maydon Wharf and Agriport, National Operations Planning Executive and recently Executive Manager for Group Business Development. Having led strategic tactical planning and execution of operational optimisation for all commodity segments, Earl is tasked with providing strategic direction and leadership through close collaboration with all key port stakeholders in his new role within the container and automotive sectors.

Beyond his extensive experience in varying disciplines including engineering, finance, commercial freight solutions, port and rail operations – Earl holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, a Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree from the University of South Africa and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
