Transnet Engineering (TE) is the manufacturing division of Transnet SOC Limited. TE offers researching, design, manufacturing, and maintenance services, maritime as well as products to the rail industry across the globe and specifically the African continent.

TE operates six main plants situated in major city centres in South Africa. The organisation also has six major corridors across the country with each serving as a central hub.
