Enabling the targeted beneficiary to reach its full potential, namely meeting the basic needs of the complete human being in order for them to function optimally.
In turn, the holistically empowered individual becomes socially and economically sustainable and able to help other community members reach their full potential as well.
Transnet Community Centres
A sustainable business model for the Transnet Community Centres that incorporate NGO structures to drive innovative social and economic solutions to community challenges.
Gender-Based Violence Prevention
A programme that focuses on the holistic development and growth of survivors and victims of GBV.
The programme identifies, through an Individual Gap Analysis, a Personal Development Programme to empower participants to become economically independent and meets their basic needs to function optimally.
The programme is implemented in partnership with local NGOs and draws on the diverse skills of employees who volunteer to provide the training.
Transnet Food Farms
Community driven interventions that contribute towards food security, through vegetable gardens established on Transnet-owned land.
